From the meeting
The City Engineer's report said site work had begun on the Kingsbury Athletic Fields project. The work includes athletic fields, parking lots, space for a future Parks maintenance building, and a fire training tower, with construction continuing through summer 2027. This is an active buildout with multiple follow-on scopes still in motion.
The practical next conversations are around site utilities, building planning, and any remaining construction packages.
