From the meeting
The Child Nutrition Program said the Central Kitchen upgrade had been approved for negotiations, then awarded and bonded in September, but the contract is being finalized now. The board was told to postpone the major Central Kitchen Renovation because of budget constraints. The delay matters because the district is still planning kitchen modernization, but the next spend is deferred while staff align costs to revenue.
