From the meeting
The Center for Teaching and Lear Faculty Training and Support scheduled faculty training sessions for artificial intelligence for September 15, alongside a D2L workshop. The AI Task Force is still monitoring faculty feedback, so the college is shaping its AI support approach rather than buying a named solution. This is a clear pre-RFP signal for training, policy support, or educational technology services.

Questions about this project
What is a pre-RFP?
A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
When will Temple College issue an RFP for this project?
Pre-RFPs typically surface 6–18 months before a formal solicitation is published. Civic IQ tracks Temple College's meeting records, agendas, and budgets continuously and updates this pre-RFP as the project moves through the buying cycle toward an RFP.
How can vendors engage with Temple College before the RFP is published?
Vendors who reach out during the planning window can help shape requirements and build relationships with the decision-makers running the project. A free Civic IQ account unlocks this pre-RFP's source document, forecasted RFP timing, and verified Temple College decision-maker contacts.
