THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
The board will hold a discussion-only item on an engineer appointment for the plan commission. This suggests the town is considering engaging an engineering professional or firm to support planning and development review. Engineering and planning consultants should treat this as an early signal to introduce qualifications, staffing models, and on-call arrangements before a formal selection process is defined.
Agenda explicitly labels this as "Discuss only" with no motion, indicating early-stage planning for an engineering appointment.
