From the meeting
The board was scheduled to consider pre-authorization for a campus improvement project: a new sports field, upgrades to the existing playlot, and an additional playground. The work was tied to a grant application for up to $100,000 from The DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation/LISC Game On Initiative. Staff wanted authority to start implementation immediately after any award.
The item is still pending the board vote and grant outcome.
