From the meeting
The board reviewed a revised policy on teaching about drugs, alcohol, tobacco, gambling, and electronic devices. The notes say the update requires instruction on the addictive potential of excessive time spent using electronic devices and that it will be incorporated into students' digital citizenship instruction. This can drive curriculum, lesson content, or staff training decisions.
