From the meeting
The board held a public hearing on adoption of the updated 2025 Armstrong County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan. The agenda says FEMA has marked the plan 'Approved Pending Adoption,' and final approval depends on participating local bodies adopting it. The district joined the mitigation action team with Armstrong County and the City of Claude.
This matters because adoption keeps the district eligible for federal mitigation project grant funding.
