THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
The board approved an additional five days of work during July and August 2026 for the School Resource Officer at an hourly rate of $44.45. This indicates ongoing investment in school safety and police presence beyond the regular school year. Vendors offering safety training, threat assessment, surveillance, access control, and SRO program support may find the district receptive to enhancements in its safety infrastructure.
Summer SRO presence may coincide with programs or facility use requiring extra safety support.
