From the meeting
The board adopted policy 5151 to support homeless children and students in temporary housing under McKinney-Vento. The policy requires immediate enrollment, transportation, records transfer, liaison support, and coordination with social services. It also says a portion of Title I, Part A funds will be set aside for related educational support services.
This is a policy and funding trigger, not a vendor award, but it can surface future service, transportation, or student-support needs.
