From the meeting
The administration was authorized to create a new High School Special Education teaching position covered by the EAEA CBA. This is a staffing decision, not a procurement, but it signals an expanded special education service need that can drive classroom support, training, and related program spending. The position was approved at the October 15, 2026 meeting.
