From the meeting
Staff said the town and its water attorney met with Moonshot Missions, an EPA-funded consulting team, to develop the request for engineers and hydrologists for the secondary water source project. The town has received $555,967 from two grants for this work. No immediate decisions were needed yet, because consultants will first develop options for the board.
This is a grant-backed planning phase that points to future engineering and water-rights work.
