From the meeting
Space Florida approved up to $200,000 to establish the UK/FL Innovation Program under the Florida International Aerospace Innovation Fund. The program will support competitively selected joint projects with the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology and the UK Space Agency. This is an early program-creation signal rather than a procurement award.
It matters for partners that can fit aerospace innovation and commercialization work into the new funding stream.
