From the meeting
On September 22, 2026, the mayor pro-tem reported that the Cimarron Water Distribution Project was near completion while the three Cimarron tanks were being rehabilitated. He also said the city was currently drawing water from Eagle Nest Lake. The project appears to be in late-stage implementation, which can matter for related utility equipment, rehab, and support follow-on work.

Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
