From the meeting
On September 22, 2026 the Board approved a $634,222 appropriation from the 1% sales tax fund for new construction and renovation of schools. The School Board said the money will retrofit the metal roof at Axton Elementary School. This is a funded capital repair with a defined scope and a clear facilities contractor opportunity if procurement follows.
