From the meeting
On September 14, 2026, the board approved Resolution No. 11-26 to file a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application with Allegheny County Economic Development for the Grove Road storm sewer project. The action is an application step, not an award.
Grant-funded drainage work remains a live opportunity, and the next conversation is about scope, design, and funding readiness.

Questions about this project
What is a pre-RFP?
A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
When will Town of South Park issue an RFP for this project?
Pre-RFPs typically surface 6–18 months before a formal solicitation is published. Civic IQ tracks Town of South Park's meeting records, agendas, and budgets continuously and updates this pre-RFP as the project moves through the buying cycle toward an RFP.
How can vendors engage with Town of South Park before the RFP is published?
Vendors who reach out during the planning window can help shape requirements and build relationships with the decision-makers running the project. A free Civic IQ account unlocks this pre-RFP's source document, forecasted RFP timing, and verified Town of South Park decision-maker contacts.
