From the meeting
On October 8, 2026 staff gave an update on the Waste Prevention Grants Program, including evaluation findings, recent grant awards, and the 2026 open grant cycle. The board packet does not name a new award on this item, but it does confirm an active grant funding pipeline and an open cycle still shaping awards. A seller or nonprofit partner would want to track the eligibility, timing, and program priorities coming out of the open cycle.
