From the meeting
On August 13, 2026, the board approved resolutions to accept two FAA grants tied to property purchases at the airport. The FAA Airport Improvement Program (AIP) grant was $1,819,044 for 26 Hunter Road, and the FAA Airport Infrastructure Grant (AIG) was $1,358,322 for 28 Hunter Road, both contingent on final FAA offers. This is a clear funding signal for airport property acquisition and long-range parking/expansion planning.
