From the meeting
Maysville Community & Technical College sought a new Air Conditioning Technology AAS on top of an existing diploma program. The report said class sizes on the Montgomery and Rowan campuses were at or above capacity and that the program needed additional instructors and adjuncts. Local HVAC employers were already involved through work-based learning and advisory boards.
The buying signal is capacity pressure plus curriculum expansion tied to workforce demand.
