From the meeting
Lee College asked the Board to authorize the President or designee to pursue approval for a new Associate of Applied Science degree program in Sonography. The program was planned for Lee College - Mont Belvieu Campus and was tied to the campus operating budget. A planning committee with Lee College and Barbers Hill ISD selected Sonography based on labor market demand and wages.
This is a pre-approval signal for curriculum development, accreditation, and program launch planning.
