From the meeting
In early 2026 the Borough Planning Commission initiated a streetscape study for Main Street, Walnut Street, and Beaver Street in the core commercial and mixed-use area. MCPC has completed site visits, reviewed prior walkability and transportation data, and is now finishing the existing conditions analysis. The commission was asked on September 2, 2026 to review the first segment and discuss changes before the next step of community open house input and conceptual improvement plans.
