From the meeting
Council reviewed a draft Community Support Funding Program on September 3, 2026 to formalize recurring financial requests for community services and events outside the normal budget cycle. Staff said the guideline revisions would come back for further discussion, and council discussed annual deadlines, scoring, reporting, and a budget line item. The buying signal is future grant-style funding allocation, not an award yet.
