From the meeting
Council received an update on progress under the Parks and Recreation Master Plan, a 10-year roadmap for 2022-2031. The report said several items remain outstanding, including an Active Transportation Strategy, park and trail signage, a skate park, a pool feasibility study, and an updated business plan and capital reserve for a future indoor multi-use facility. Staff recommended a formal update to the master plan at its midpoint, expected in 2027-2028.
The report also noted that an architectural study for the Iroquois Civic Centre had been completed and that work continued on other park and recreation projects.
