City staff worked with the South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources and the South Dakota Rural Water Association on lead service line identification. DANR had contracted with the South Dakota Rural Water Association to hydro excavate service lines, but no funds were available directly to Yankton for identification or replacement at this time.
