From the meeting
At the September 9, 2026 meeting, the zoning administrator asked for volunteers to serve on the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee. The committee would help guide long-range planning that can shape zoning, growth policy, and future capital priorities. This is a personnel-style buying trigger because it affects who will direct later land-use and infrastructure decisions.

A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
