At the September 28, 2026 meeting, Brandywine Conservancy presented preliminary quotes to update the Open Space, Recreation and Environmental Resources (OSRER) Plan and create an Official Map. The Township said it should update the OSRER first, then move to the Official Map. Staff also said a recreation consultant may be needed to help identify needs, existing conditions, and recommendations from the Comprehensive Plan.
Tony Scheivert noted possible Green Region Grant funding from PECO, a Municipal Assistance Program from DCED, and William Penn Foundation support for Brandywine staff time. The work was discussed and remained open.
