From the meeting
At the September 11, 2026 meeting, Alderman Reese reported that G&W Engineering had completed new sidewalk construction and seating areas near the children's playground and an accessible sidewalk from the bluff to the playground. He also said excess concrete would be used to repair damaged sidewalk sections on the west end of the bayfront. The current bayfront grant project phase will be formally closed out once remaining concrete work is finished and the final invoice is received.
