From the meeting

At the October 27, 2026 Board of Trustees meeting, Garland ISD presented 2026-2027 Targeted Improvement Plans (TIPs) for Daugherty, Ethridge, Lister, Northlake, Rowlett, Stephens, Sam Houston, and Schrade. The plans were required as a condition of participation in Learning Acceleration Support Opportunities (LASO) III school improvement grants. Schrade was also under state intervention requirements after its third consecutive D rating.

The board was scheduled to hold a public hearing and then consider approval before TEA review.
