From the meeting
At the October 20, 2026 meeting, JeP Doolittle said the Mad River Path scoping study grant was approved. Moretown was unable to administer the grant because of federal funding limits, so Middlesex would act as lead town and pay for the work before getting reimbursed by VTrans. Mad River Path and Mad River Trails put together the grant application.
The grant agreement was still pending and someone such as the Selectboard chair would need to sign it.

Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
