From the meeting
At the October 19, 2026 meeting Stephanie Richards with Central Dispatch said the mapping system will not geo-verify and asked for help completing the county road map update and GIS conversion. Director Josh Phillips said the county is still dealing with address issues, radio communication problems, mitigation work, and a grant with an ARC study that must be finished before a contractor can be hired. This is an open data and mapping need, not a selected procurement yet.

Questions about this project
What is a pre-RFP?
A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
When will Duchesne County issue an RFP for this project?
Pre-RFPs typically surface 6–18 months before a formal solicitation is published. Civic IQ tracks Duchesne County's meeting records, agendas, and budgets continuously and updates this pre-RFP as the project moves through the buying cycle toward an RFP.
How can vendors engage with Duchesne County before the RFP is published?
