From the meeting
At the October 15, 2026 meeting, staff reported that the South Meadows flood protection system work was still in engineering and permitting. Weston & Sampson completed field work for quarterly, annual, and 5-year inspections, and the Drilling and Invasive Program Plan plus the ELUR release application were drafted and under review. Once permits are issued, the project will move to public solicitation to prequalify construction/demolition contractors and then issue an RFP for the abandonment and removal work.
Staff said the inspection reports would be finalized and submitted in the coming weeks.
