From the meeting
At the May 28, 2026 TAC meeting, members approved an amended Carbon Reduction Program (CRP) grant application for two zero-emission buses. The original proposal also included charging infrastructure, but the application was changed to remove the chargers and use only $613,000 of CRP funds for the buses, with the local match coming from Low-Carbon Transit Operations Program (LCTOP) funds. The total project cost was stated as about $691,000.
The report also noted Lake APC lacked a master agreement with Caltrans Local Assistance for the federal CRP funds and discussed partnering through an agency with an existing agreement.
