From the meeting
At the July 13, 2026 meeting, Cherokee Regional Library gave a yearly update on the Rossville Public Library, including the FY 2026 summer reading program, new patio usage, and a grant funded teacher tutoring program. The source does not show a new award amount or procurement, but it confirms an active grant-supported service. Vendors in library programming, tutoring, and outdoor amenity support should note the ongoing funded activity.

Questions about this project
What is a pre-RFP?
A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
