From the meeting
At the August 28, 2026 MAC meeting, Justin Pierce said the group was assessing FEMA and DHS risk-profile data for the TriCounty area for the Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) grant funding. BCDCOG had helped validate data sources and provide additional ones to improve the score for future iterations. They had completed initial open-source assessments and were scheduling classified briefings with DHS INA to validate high-site information and the critical infrastructure list.
The effort was still in progress.
