From the meeting
At its September 8, 2026 meeting, the council approved payment of the remaining 50% funding for 60% design work under the Area Drainage Master Plan. Town Manager Clifton said SMART grant reimbursements had already covered the initial engineering and moved the project to 30% design. The next step is 60% design, and a funding gap of about $750,000 is expected, with the Town share at roughly $375,000.
