From the meeting
At its September 24, 2026 meeting, the board approved the purchase of a Ford F450 for DMD sanitation staff to provide power washing services downtown. The vehicle was procured through TIPS, and DMD agreed to pay Silsbee Ford, or an equivalent vendor, up to $78,000 from the capital fund. This is a direct equipment purchase and the named supplier is the useful incumbent/contact for follow-on fleet and upfit work.
