From the meeting
At its September 16, 2026 meeting, the council authorized the Village of Highland Hills to opt in to ODOT's project to resurface Chagrin Blvd (US-422) from the Beachwood west corporation line to Richmond Road. The work includes pavement base repairs, catch basin repair, curb repair, ADA curb ramps, and pavement markings. The state will bear 100% of the improvement cost, while the village may handle any LPA-requested extras and must support right-of-way and utility coordination.
ODOT will also use pre-qualified consultants for preliminary engineering.
