From the meeting
At its September 16, 2026 meeting the board authorized a $130,000 Pennsylvania Department of Education grant for the K-5 STEM to Careers program. The program will implement K-5 STEAM curriculum, buy robotics and coding kits, and fund professional learning plus collaborative services that bring career connections into classrooms. The grant runs for the 2026-2027 school year and serves all K-5 schools.
This creates near-term demand for curriculum, devices, and training support.
