From the meeting
At its September 14, 2026 meeting, the township approved a regional solid waste collection feasibility study led by Uwchlan Township with Downingtown, East Caln, Upper Uwchlan, Uwchlan, and West Whiteland Townships. The contract was awarded to MSW Consultants of Florida for $119,100, with each municipality paying $23,820. The municipalities also applied for a regional grant that could fund 50% of the study, so the next sales angle is implementation of the study findings and any follow-on regional contract work.
