From the meeting
At its September 14, 2026 meeting the council accepted a fee proposal from Dyer Partnership Engineers and Planners, Inc. for design of the Siuslaw Village Wastewater Pump Station Replacement Project. The proposal amount was $152,800 and covered preliminary design, DEQ coordination, and geotechnical research.
Staff said the existing pump station, built about 50 years ago, was undersized and serving roughly four times its original design capacity. The project was fully funded in the current wastewater capital budget, and construction costs were to be added in the next biennium budget.

Questions about this project
What is a pre-RFP?
A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
