From the meeting
At its September 10, 2026 meeting, the Board approved implementation of the new Data Technology program and the teach-out of Software Development. The program was developed with Bridgerland Technical College and industry partners to meet demand for data management, analysis, visualization, and process automation skills. The main decision is done, and the next conversation is likely around rollout, staffing, and resource support tied to the strategic reinvestment plan.

A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
