From the meeting
At its October 7, 2026 meeting, Council accepted the Wood Festival 2027 report and supported a partnership with Bancroft Area Stewardship Council (BASC) to plan the event. The Municipality said it will provide the land as an operational facility for the day, while BASC will work on event planning. This is not a purchase, but it shows a named external partner and a future event planning relationship that could drive site support, logistics, and service needs.
