From the meeting

At its October 22, 2026 meeting, the board considered an amended and restated addendum with Contra Costa County to accept an additional $60,000 in Cycle Two SB 1383 Local Assistance Grant Program funds. That would raise the total County pass-through funding to $120,000 for SB 1383 compliance work such as route monitoring, edible food generator monitoring, education, outreach, and enforcement planning. The County had already signed the document, but CCCSWA board approval was still the decision point.

The money had to be expended before November 2, 2026.
