From the meeting

At its October 21, 2026 workshop, the Planning Commission reviewed a project to update Natural Resource Lands (NRL) designations and mapping and make minor follow-up changes to the Critical Areas Ordinance (CAO). The work is funded by Washington Department of Commerce's Periodic Update Grant (PUG) program. Facet is scoped for six meetings and will prepare draft mapping, regulations, and environmental review before public hearings in 2027.

This is a live planning and code-update effort, not a completed procurement.
