From the meeting
At its October 21, 2026 meeting, Chief Jeremy Randall reported several police training activities, including an evidence and crime scene investigation course at Blackhawk Technical College, a basic investigators course next month, online Field Training Officer certification, and a basic SWAT course in November. The department also discussed a drone training opportunity but did not participate because the training required a fee and the department does not currently have drone equipment. This was informational only.
