From the meeting
At its October 20, 2026 meeting, the MEDC adopted a resolution to establish the Garrett / Rabon Fullen House Renovation Project. The project sets a not-to-exceed budget of $800,000 for interior and exterior renovation, a new air conditioning system, painting, outdoor seating areas, and related work. The board also authorized a public hearing for November 17, 2026, and the City Administrator will oversee the project after further approvals.
A follow-up conversation should focus on scope, phasing, and the eventual construction and professional services package.
