From the meeting
At its October 19, 2026 meeting, the board considered acceptance of the completed Celia Hays Elementary School roof replacement project. Weather Shield was the contractor on the $578,165 contract awarded April 20, 2026, and the final contract amount was $528,165 after a $50,000 deduct change order. Administration said the work met acceptance checklist items and asked for final payment authorization.
The project is complete, but this confirms the incumbent and closeout timing for any follow-on construction or warranty work.
