From the meeting
At its October 19, 2026 meeting, council reviewed the Public Utilities Asset and Inventory Study prepared by LKC Engineering and funded by a $200,000 ARPA grant. The report covered record drawing archival, complete mapping update, manhole, line and pump station inspections, flow monitoring, operations and maintenance evaluation, condition and critical asset rating, a capital improvement plan (CIP), and a rate study. Staff said the city would review the comprehensive report and adopt it at a later meeting.
The plan was still open for later adoption.
