From the meeting
At its October 15, 2026 meeting, the board was asked to accept a $25,000 Educational Partners Program Scholarship Award from the Embraer Aerospace Foundation for students in the TCC Northwest Aviation Maintenance Technology Program. The memo said this was a new scholarship commitment for the upcoming award year and followed prior Embraer scholarship support. It is a funding signal for aviation workforce programs, with Embraer already expanding in Fort Worth and growing demand for trained technicians.
