From the meeting
At its October 14, 2026 meeting, the State Board of Education considered a Turnaround Option Plan for Virtual Preparatory Academy of Florida after the school received two consecutive F grades. The board had already granted a waiver of termination on September 16, 2026 with conditions, including parent notices, a professional learning plan, and weekly BSI walk-throughs starting October 15. The plan is now before the board, making this an active school-improvement and support-services signal tied to an at-risk charter operator.
