From the meeting
At its October 14, 2026 meeting, the Council approved the project design and budget for an aviation maintenance technology educational facility for Pierpont Community and Technical College at the North Central West Virginia Airport in Bridgeport. The Council also approved the construction agreement with the West Virginia Economic Development Authority and authorized the Chancellor to enter into the agreement. This is already awarded and moving into execution, so the useful angle is construction administration and any follow-on procurement tied to the build.
